Emergency Relief In 2011

BBCF Flood Relief, Bangladesh - Bangladesh experienced extensive damages from the monsoon flood of 2010. BWAid & APBAid granted a total of $9000 to help 1050 families with foodstuff. 

 LCSBC Typhoon Megi Relief, Philippines - With the total combined grants of $22,000 from APBAid and BWAid, a crop assistance scheme was launched to help 44 farmers with rice seed and fertilizers. 
 
Kachin IDP Relief - On June 9, 2011, violence between the Government forces and Kachin rebels resumed and about 45,000 people were displaced. APBAid and ABC granted a total amount of $8,500 to help Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) with foodstuff distribution in 3 temporary camps.
 
Cyclone Giri Relief Response - APBAid, BWAid and ABC together helped some 5832 persons in 12 villages in Rakhine state of Myanmar with $22,000 for foodstuff distribution, water and sanitation schemes.
 
Eastern Shan State earthquake relief, Myanmar - In continuation from 201o, APBAid joined multiple donors to help Mekong Minority Foundation (MMF) to cover 1328 people in 26 villages with $5000.
